Description :
This position is with or NOC Service Activation team and provides an opportunity for a candidate with expert knowledge of Sonus, who can apply the knowledge to new activations, disconnects and migrations of customer services; migration and maintenance of the network and vendor services. The candidate must possess the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external customers while performing to the companies standards of customer service and quality. In addition the candidate must be able to work within a team environment and be able to adapt quickly to change.

TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
TCP/IP protocol and services
IP Networking
Cisco and Routers
Basic routing protocols (esp. BGP)
Internet concepts and routing architecture
Spanning tree and layer two switching concepts
IP networks and related technologies
Advanced SONUS Required
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years experience in a NOC or technical help desk environment
4 years hands-on networking experience
4 plus years Sonus Experience
Professional certification of either MCSE or CCNA required, CCNP or CCIE highly desirable
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree or equivalent in work experience
