DESCRIPTION
Responsible for direct telephone selling, servicing and nurturing of an account base of Dental Professionals in an assigned geographic area. Analyze and qualify customer information, implement sales strategies, maintain associated records and communication of appropriate information to management. Partner with field sales team to increase market share and sales with existing accounts.
Will be key account representative for Dental Professionals in defined geographic regions: will be responsible for delivering sales and plan growth, and developing and maintaining relationships with Field Sales Representatives. Responsible for business building calls, delivering results against key performance indicators and acting as a primary customer contact on the professional product lines. This role is also responsible for optimizing sales and professional recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
This position requires the following qualifications:
* Minimum 2 years of sales experience in a similar industry
* 1+ years of outbound call center and customer service relationship experience
* Demonstrated consultative sales aptitude, including the ability to up-sell and cross-sell
* Meet established sales and volume goals by executing sales and marketing programs, promotions and new product offerings
* Demonstrated professional verbal and written communication skills
* Challenge the status quo and strive for continuous improvement
* Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
* Interactive personal skills that fit the team and customer environment
* Demonstrated data entry and accuracy; ability to identify and correct errors, process orders, maintain records to sell and service accounts
* Ability to adapt and work effectively with a variety of situations, individuals, and technologies
* Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and to effectively prioritize workload to meet changing business needs.
* Organized and detailed in daily work processes and follow through/follow up
* Ability to sit, view a monitor and key at a computer station for extended periods of time
* Ability to work a shift between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. CST
* Flexibility with scheduling and overtime as required by business need
* Associates Degree
* PC Skills: Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet, Lotus Notes or Other Email Applications and ability to learn proprietary systems

Preferred Qualifications are:
* Experience working in SAP
* Dental industry experience
* Experience in telemarketing or sales of medical, dental or pharmaceutical products
* Bachelors Degree
