An innovative brand consulting and design group in Hackettstown, NJ has a promising temp-to-hire position available for an Assistant Account Executive. This position provides support to Account Services in the management of project details from start to completion, ensuring an on strategy, on time and on budget execution while striving to exceed client expectations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a range of well-known consumer brands and must demonstrate solid agency experience, excellent communication skills and a high energy, client-service driven commitment to excellence. This position offers an hourly rate of $20 to $22 per hour with an annual salary of $40,000 once the position converts to direct.
Responsibilities:
* Provide project coordination services liaising between creative, production, trafficking account services and clients
* Assist with scheduling meetings
* Proofread material to ensure information is accurate and thorough before submittal to client
* Maintain workflow systems; prioritize tasks and monitor project path using Filemaker Pro, Lotus Notes and Outlook
* Foster positive vendor relationship and interact with vendors to facilitate project coordination
* Assist in the preparation of project estimates
* Assist Account Managers/ Directors in managing client account receivables and trouble shooting projects
* Be proactive in managing projects and liaising with clients on behalf of Account Manager
* Establish strong client relationships
* Provide administrative report; type correspondence, maintain records and filing system
Requirements:
* Four year college degree
* Two to four (2-4) years of related account services/ project coordination experience
* Agency experience is a must
* Packaging experience is helpful
* Demonstrate consistent attention to detail, sound judgment and good people skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Solid computer skills and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience with Filemaker Pro desired
* Capable of delivering best in service performance across all job responsibilities working well independently and contributing to team efforts
