General Summary:
Responsible for working with the AEs in developing, designing, presenting and closing complex voice and data applications to the AE's assigned Enterprise level accounts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assists AE in presenting to assigned Enterprise Level customers complex voice and data applications and assist with closing sales.
* Designs viable complex voice and data network sales solutions for Enterprise Level customer applications including preparation of network topologies, technical specifications, and assist Sales with pricing.
* Pulls and analyzes CSRs (with assistance from TSCs and Sales Coordinators as needed.)
* Assists EAEs with ICB development and review, assembles required data and initiates Complex ICB process
* Interfaces with customers to determine technical requirements feasibility and expectations.
* As required, conducts formal site surveys on new orders (T-1 and above). Site survey will be used by Service Delivery and Ops.
* Works with appropriate internal committees to validate companies ability and willingness to offer a solution.
* Translates techno-speak to plain English for both customers and internal personnel and English to techno-speak at a level all can readily understand.
* Performs other support duties as assigned.
* Minimum Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* Licensures: Cisco Certification preferred
Valid Driver's License
* Relevant Work Experience:
* Minimum of 7 years of field telecommunications/data sales/technical experience, at least 50% of which should be working with Enterprise level customers requiring cutting-edge technology or complex voice and data applications.

* Knowledgeable of Outside Plant
* Extensive knowledge of PBX systems, voicemail, Centrex, in-depth industry IP networking Internet Protocol knowledge, firewall, VPN, Wavelength, MPLS, Ethernet, IP telephony, digital hierarchy, router/server, LAN/WAN, web hosting, managed server, collocation
* Working knowledge of MS Office, Visio, and PC-based network utility tools
* Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
* Demonstrated exceptional and successful customer presentation skills with proven successful track record of potential sales closures
* Must be comfortable conversing expertly and clearly with Enterprise level customers
