Director of Sales
Peppermill Hotel Casino Reno is seeking a highly motivated, sales oriented Director of Sales for Northern Nevada's Premiere resort. Position is responsible for sales at 1,635 luxurious room casino resort with 102,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
Candidate will be responsible for generating hotel sales and optimize room revenue within the Corporate small groups market. Work in a cohesive manner with Group Services to ensure client satisfaction. Sell group hotel rooms and ancillary hotel/casino services to meeting planners, group leaders, travel and other groups requiring ten or more rooms per night. Generate new Private Line clients and maintain current client database. Meet monthly Private Line goals.
Candidate must have extensive sales background in large volume/resort complex. Position works on a consistent basis with sales force to generate new business and maintain relationships with present accounts. Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, polished presentation and strong guest service orientation.
Requirements of the position include working knowledge of Daylight/Delphi systems, Word/Excel programs and knowledge of food and wine. Ability to teach, train and motivate catering sales team to reach their fullest potential.
