Department Description
The Account Management department is the day-to-day "face" of SK+G, or the primary "touch point" for a client. The department is the steward of the client relationship - as well as the client's brand - and, as such, is responsible for coordinating with and leveraging the various agency departments and resources in ensuring all client needs (anticipated or requested) are addressed. It, at different times, represents the interests of both SK+G and its various departments and those of the client in facilitating effective, strategically sound advertising solutions.
Simply put, Account Management is "the hub" of SK+G as most work and/or information flows, to and from the agency and the client, through it.
Account Executive: Acts as the day-to-day contact with the client and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the account. They are the point person for any given account and report to the Senior Account Executive and/or Account Supervisor.
Specifically, responsibilities for the Account Executive position include:
* Acting as the liaison between the client and the various departments within the agency
* Determining priority with regard to workload and delegating all work/responsibilities to the Assistant Account Executive and/or Account Coordinator
* Managing client expectations with regard to creative strategy/executions and project/job time lines
* Ensuring that jobs are opened accurately and on time
* Managing client budgets and ensuring all media is properly planned for and executed
* Monitoring all work on any given job, from inception to completion
* Conveying (and "translating" when necessary) all information from the client to the appropriate agency departments
* Developing, in coordination with the Account Supervisor, Strategy and Integration and the Executive Creative Director/Group Creative Director, all creative briefs ? and ensuring these briefs are presented to and approved by the client
* Managing all communications to the client: status reports, conference and call reports, etc.
* Reviewing billing, preparing estimates, developing timelines, and initiating and approving purchase orders
* Keeping organized files for correspondence, work orders, change orders and creative
* Assisting with the coordination of large print and broadcast production projects
Experience
* 3-5 Years Prior Agency Experience a must
* Background in luxury or hospitality brands a plus
