Position:
OPERATIONS MANAGER FOR MEDICAL PRACTICE
|
Job Description:
Our well-established rheumatology practice with two health-care providers seeks to hire a highly motivated Operations Manager with leadership qualities, who will continually seek methods of improving patient care delivery. The ideal candidate will be proactive and innovative regarding management systems and have a proven track record of successfully running medical practices. This candidate will be detail- and results-oriented, using excellent people and communication skills (both oral and written) to ensure an effective practice.
REQUIREMENTS:
Management training
Minimum of 5 years experience
Sound knowledge of the field's regulations, practices and procedures
Proficient in software packages including Microsoft Office applications and QuickBooks
Knowledge of and experience in management of:
Human Resources
Patient Relations
Medical Billing including A/R
Bookkeeping and A/P
Electronic Medical Records
DUTIES:
Supervise, motivate and train personnel, both medical and clerical (14 total)
Establish and manage work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of operations at all times
Set up management systems including annual calendar
Monitor patient satisfaction
Prepare financial reports including productivity by providers, cost of goods
Continuous awareness of and reporting on all aspects of the practice
Supervise insurance contracting as it pertains to cost effectiveness
Promote public relations, marketing and patient retention
Implement and monitor inventory control
Report to Medical Director

The Turner-Riverwalk medical facilities in Riverside/Corona provide a campus-like setting, adjacent to retail services, restaurants and an on-site hotel, as well as easy access to four excellent hospitals. The Arthritis Center of Riverside has a brand-new 8,000 sq. ft. facility in Medical Park at Riverwalk, designed to provide both patients and employees with a medical-friendly and people-friendly environment.
On site, ACR has a state-of-the-art high complexity physician office laboratory (POL) and are Commission of Laboratory Assessment (COLA) Excellence Award recipients. They also have computerized Radiology and a peripheral joint MRI facility. ACR treats a wide patient base, several of which come from out of state and abroad. The Arthritis Center of Riverside is near the intersections of freeways 15 and 91. The location is 45 minutes away from the mountains or beach and 1 hour away from downtown LA or the desert.
