Concept Development Formulation Scientist
|
Job Description:
Sage Products is seeking an experienced Formulation Scientist to join our New Product Development department. Do you have a natural curiosity to solve real problems? Do you have the drive to "get things done?" Does freedom from bureaucratic constraints sound appealing? If you answered yes to these questions and you meet the requirements listed below, we would like to consider you for this position.
The responsibilities of this position include the following:
*Develop new products through hands-on formulation and experimentation
*Collaborate with Market Research and Marketing
*Create cosmetic and pharmaceutical formulations from initial ideas
*Identify, develop and utilize internal and external resources to assist in projects
*Management of projects from concept through initial production.
Minimum of five years experience creating cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical formulations. *High level of creativity *Ability to communicate effectively with technical and marketing people *Good industry knowledge for sourcing materials and services *Proficiency in managing projects.
Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry or related science.
