Position: New Business Development Manager

Job Description:

Accelerated Rehabilitation Centers, the leading private provider of physical rehabilitation services, is excited to announce the opening of a New Business Development Manager. This full time position will be based out of our new corporate office in Chicago in the heart of downtown and conveniently located near everything that this city has to offer.

PRINCIPLE FUNCTION:

This highly motivated self starter will work directly with the President of Accelerated, analyze the present position of Accelerated in its market and formulate a three year plan to add over one hundred new rehabilitation centers. Candidate will receive training in all aspects of new physical therapy center start up including: due diligence, market research and selection, physician and referral relations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

1. Identify territory and prospects, generate leads, contact prospects, develop requests for proposal, coordinate and organize networking events and participate in all aspects of the prospecting process.

2. Schedule and conduct direct prospecting calls and follow-up on customer prospects to increase volume. Documents such activities and reports pertinent information to the President.

3. Responsible for keeping updated account files, documenting contacts and customer needs.

4. Responsible for development and implementation of quarter plan to achieve prospecting expectations.

5. Assist Director of Business Development in refining strategies for their specific territory.

6. Strategically plans closely with the President and, indirectly with the Director of Business Development.

7. Maintain a working knowledge of all physician specialties, nuances, competitors, etc. nationally. Share such knowledge with the President and Director of Business Development.

8. Maintain a complete understanding of ARC's programs and services, and whom to target for specific prospecting.

9. Presents self to both internal and external customers in a positive and professional manner that reflects the values of the organization.

Requirements

1. Bachelors Degree in business, marketing or health related field.
2. Minimum of three years marketing and sales experience, rehabilitation related preferred.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Effective organizational and time management skill required.
5. Ability to manage productivity with minimal direction.
6. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
7. Possession of valid driver's license and good driving record.
8. Possession of automobile for business use.
9. You must be able to travel nationally up to 75% of the time when needed.
