Sales Forecasting Analyst

Summary
As a Sales Forecasting Analyst, you will support the Financial Planning and Analysis team with global sales forecasting and analysis as well as evaluate sales and profit trends.
Reports to: The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
Local Candidates Only: You must live within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA
Duties/Responsibilities
* Develop and analyze country revenue forecasting models
* Evaluate sales and profit trends
* Provide support to regional Financial Planning and Analysis functions and corporate users
* Review and provide recommendations on proposed capital projects/budges exceptions
* Evaluate and prepare quantitative analysis to support proposed regional and corporate initiatives and strategies
* Assist in preparation of presentations to senior corporate and regional management
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting areas, as needed
* Assist in special projects
You must possess the following qualities:
* Strong analytical skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will interact with regional and country finance staff as well as all levels throughout the organization, including distributors, customers, and vendors
* Ability to create financial models
* Ability to manage time effectively
* Must be detail oriented
* Must be willing to travel occasionally
Required Background/Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Systems, or Accounting
* 2+ years of experience in related field
Major Pluses to have
* Advanced degree
* Experience with MicroStrategy or other Business Intelligence software

* Short-Term Disability California- eligible for State Disability. Paid time off coordinates with CA SDI.
* Long-Term Disability Pays 60% of monthly base salary up to plan maximum after 90-day waiting period on an approved disability.
* Flex Spending Plan Contribute pre-tax up to $5000 for Medical, $5000 for Dependent Care.
