Company Summary
Enliven is a small healthcare consulting business located at 2505 21st Avenue South, Suite 301, Nashville, TN 37212. The company develops and implements innovative marketing partnerships between large hospital clients and major consumer brands, resulting in incremental, non-traditional revenue streams for our hospital clients and increased product awareness, trial and sales for our consumer brand partners. To date, Enliven has had the most success with developing exclusive pouring rights agreements between large hospital systems and one of the two major beverage companies and their bottling company partners (Coke or Pepsi). The company was founded in July 2005 and has clients in Tennessee, Michigan and Missouri.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for both the successful implementation of the Enliven business model--particularly with respect to executing exclusive pouring rights agreements between large hospital systems and one of the major soft drink bottling companies. The Operations Coordinator (OC) is expected to be on-site with clients and corporate partners in a lead role with minimal management intervention to plan, schedule, and execute the required tasks and activities related to the implementation of Enliven programs. The OC will also act as point of contact between clients, corporate partners and Enliven to identify and address all issues related to implementation and client support.
In addition to these client and corporate partner duties, this position will assist the CEO and other team members as needed with Enliven's corporate finances and operations. These responsibilities will run the gamut from routine and rudimentary business functions to innovative and strategic new business initiatives.
As a team member in a small, start-up company, the OC will be expected to perform a wide variety of tasks as needed to ensure the successful establishment and growth of the firm. A high degree of flexibility, initiative and business acumen is required. At the same time, the OC will have some specific job functions, as outlined below.
Job Functions
1. Develops, schedules, and executes client specific implementation plans related to the exclusive pouring rights RFP process, other brand partnership programs, and any related activities
2. Collects and analyzes appropriate client data, specifically beverage sales and pricing data and related contracts, for the execution of the exclusive pouring rights RFP process
3. Presents Enliven materials and deliverables to client staff, and serves as point of contact for sales and marketing activities with clients and corporate partners
4. Develops and manages internal systems and processes to ensure optimal quality, efficiency and profitability for Enliven
5. Produces and manages the coordination of timely and accurate invoices and reports to clients
6. Communicates with client and Enliven to proactively identify, communicate, and resolve issues related to each initiative
7. Improves his/her understanding of the Enliven business model, the competition, and the market environment
8. Travels as needed to perform all the responsibilities listed above
9. Provides sales support as needed, with particular emphasis on
a. Building and managing hospital and brand prospect databases
b. Basic research for presentations and proposals
c. Assembling and proofreading presentations and proposals
d. Managing staff and vendors as needed to ensure the accurate and timely development of presentations and proposals
10. Provides general home office management, including
a. Greeting and making all office visitors comfortable
b. Answering incoming calls and general company emails
c. Properly handling routine inquiries and/or directing all inquiries and requests to the appropriate person
d. Recording, sorting, distributing and filing all company correspondence and client project materials as needed
e. Working with senior management, staff, clients and vendors to obtain, sort, manage, file and retrieve all electronic files on the company server
f. Working with senior management to ensure accurate and timely correspondence and materials distribution to prospects, clients, the board and other business associates
g. Making travel arrangements for all company personnel and, as needed, affiliated consultants and clients
h. Managing and re-stocking company supplies
i. Performing light bookkeeping duties, including expense reports
j. Interfacing with and managing company vendors, particularly with respect to bookkeeping, IT services and telecom services
k. Maintaining a central company calendar
Other Duties
While this position description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the requirements of the position, Enliven management reserves the right to add, remove, or alter duties when business needs dictate.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree and excellent communication skills required. Position requires 2-3 years work experience in a professional business setting, preferably in the health care industry. Experience and/or strong interest in the field of marketing a plus. Position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point. Candidate should possess strong project management skills and analytical and problem solving skills.
Compensation
Depending on qualifications and experience, the base salary for this position will be in the range of $32,000-$38,000 per year. The OC will be paid twice monthly, on the 15th and the last business day of every month. The OC will be eligible to receive annual bonuses based on how well s/he performs the responsibilities listed above. S/he will be given a performance review after the first month of employment and after your first three months of employment. The OC will be given an annual performance review on or near the anniversary of his/her start date.
Health Benefits
The OC will be granted health and dental insurance benefits in accordance with the company's standard benefit package. Enliven will cover the full costs of health benefits for all full-time staff. Employees will pay the cost of coverage for dependent family member benefits.
Vacation
After the first six months of employment, the OC will be granted two (2) full weeks of paid vacation time per calendar year. Unused vacation time cannot be carried over to a succeeding year, nor will it be paid for at any time.
