Position Description:
The Web Communications Coordinator is responsible for providing regular maintenance, updates and HTML design of the Goodwill website to keep content current. Is responsible for the implementation and management of Social Marketing campaign. This position reports to the Sr. Designer/Brand Manager.
Job Requirements:
·Provide regular web updates that include potential design and posting of advertisements, schedules, general announcements, and editing of text content to all sections of our site.
·Provide web maintenance through site organization and archiving of web server files.
·Develop and design new pages, e-communications and email newsletters.
·In coordination with Jr. Graphic Designer and Sr. Graphic Designer, develop and design new pages, e-communications and email newsletters.
·Conduct research for continual improvement of Goodwill website and implementation of digital communications best practices by providing reports to Sr. Designer/Brand Manager.
·Develop, coordinate, and execute a social marketing plan for Goodwill including maintenance and content of all public sites, blogs and profiles.
·Provide graphic design support for web communications.
·Adhere to organization design and brand style standards.
·Work interdepartmentally to retrieve information and source content, as needed.
·Train and create instructions for users and monitor contributors to all Goodwill websites and online presences.
·In coordination with PR Assistant, coordinate execution and testing of e-communication plan
·Assist in management of online vendors.
·Work with web developers to keep site functioning optimally. Troubleshoot and address web site issues as needed.
·Work with analytic tools by creating reports. Evaluate statistics related to web page usage and update as needed.
·Ensure Goodwill web site is on appropriate search engines and evaluate effectiveness of those placements.
·Develop systems for assuring accuracy of published materials, including correct spelling and grammar.
·Required to learn any new tools and technology assigned to the department.
·Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications and Competencies:
B.A. in Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience in digital communications and minimum 1 year experience.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Dreamweaver, PC Platforms, and HTML.
Graphic design experience preferred.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are required.
Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently, prioritize tasks and have a pro-active approach to task completion.

Able to use standard office equipment without assistance. Able to maintain reliable attendance. This job may require time away from this position's work site. Travel responsibilities can include visiting store locations, attending offsite meetings and events.
