Tommy Bahama, the purveyor of island lifestyles, is looking for qualified Retail Store Manager to join our team in Natick, MA. PURPOSE To create a well managed, cultural environment driven by the ultimate guest experience resulting in a store with strong sales growth and profitability. KEY RESULT AREAS People - Recruit, hire, and develop employees to ensure an effective team. - Maintain appropriate staff level. - Embrace and implement company learning programs. - Role model sales leadership by presence and actions on the sales floor. - Cultivate an environment of open, authentic, and respectful dialogue with the store team as well as with home office and regional partners. - Practice proactive performance management and partner with regional manager and HR team to ensure adherence to employment policies and procedures. Profit - Drive top line sales through efficient planning, execution, and analysis. - Be accountable for complete understanding of all store operations. - Proactively manage all aspects of loss prevention and asset protection. - Proactively manage all aspects of store P & L statements. Product - Proficiently analyze the business to provide specific weekly store trends, assortment needs, and guest feedback. - Ensure strong partnership with the regional manager and merchant teams by providing market-specific input for the execution of seasonal buys. - Be informed of current company branded product, fashion, and market trends. - Continually educate the store team on product knowledge. - Be an ambassador of the brand by personally supporting the season trends and key items for the business. Presentation - Communicate the brand lifestyle through creative and effective presentation; maintain visual standards with creative nuances of individual store needs. - Create a strong partnership with the visual merchandising manager and merchandising teams to understand the thought process of seasonal buys and how the buys are visually interpreted. EXPERIENCE, TALENT AND EDUCATION - 3+ years management team supervision - 5+ years retail experience - Bachelor's degree preferred Tommy Bahama is full of smart, creative islanders.
