As a physician assistant and an Officer on the U.S. Army Reserve Health Care Team, you'll have the opportunity to learn new skills that you can use in your practice. Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree, plus completion of an accredited physician assistant program acceptable to the Army Surgeon General
- Certification by the National Commission for Certified Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Eligibility for board certification
- Between 21 and 42 years of age (may request a waiver)
- Permanent U.S. residency
