The ProSight Sales Executive has a critical role in the success of ProSight as the company implements its sales operation plan of revenue attainment through aggressive market penetration and new customer attainment. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, creative and dynamic leader with a solid sales background that has consistently demonstrated over-attainment of assigned quotas. This person must possess the drive, business acumen and knowledge, professional sales skills, intelligence and passion to tackle new challenges in a very fast growing company and industry. The ability to learn quickly and execute plans will be critical. Each ProSight Sales Executive is given a territory including a number of Federal Department and Agency as well as DoD accounts from which to achieve the ProSight quota assignment. Sales Executives must be able to demonstrate their ability to plan and implement a successful sales campaign using professional selling skills into their assigned accounts, as well as work with key strategic partners to win business.
Responsibilities:
The ProSight Sales Executive is responsible for implementing the ProSight Sales process in their territory and achieving against the assigned revenue quota. Specific activities include:
o Business Sales Planning: The Sales Executive will develop a sales plan to exceed the goals for their assignment (Territory, Markets, Accounts, Partners). This will include annual strategies, quarterly tactics and current attainment that will be updated and reviewed with ProSight management in Quarterly Business Reviews. o Drive the ProSight Sales Process toward closure of license contracts with the prospect. o Understand the decision making process at the prospective organization and be able identify and leverage the PowerBase. o Drive strategic relationships with senior executives within our prospects and customers that will lead toward business relationships for ProSight. o Understand and articulate in verbal and written communications the ProSight value proposition to senior executives within Government accounts. o Understand and persuasively demonstrate the ProSight solutions. o Effectively coordinate and manage sales activities with ProSight System Integrators and partners within the sales territory. o Coordinate sales and technical follow-up activities that are required with ProSight Business Analysts and Professional Services. o Ownership of prospect correspondence. The Sales Executive owns and drives all sales correspondence to our prospects and customers, including writing and contributing content to ProSight proposals. o Document and communicate important product improvements suggested or required by prospects into ProSight. o Provide status reporting for all sales activities. o Provide timely and accurate forecasts on a weekly basis to Executive management
Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. o Ten years of sales experience in solution sales and enterprise software o Minimum five years sales experience in direct sales o Experience selling $250k or greater software solutions or services o Travel 40-60% of the time
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry related journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
