Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
Evaluates the electrical and mechanical characteristics of integrated circuits, components, sub-components and systems to determine the cause of failure, including the verification of analog and digital performance. Analyzes failure reports and recommends corrective action. Develops methods, processes, procedures and equipment that will improve the failure analysis process and/or reduce failures. Will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Candidate must have BSEE degree with 5 years hands-on failure analysis experience in microproning, liquid crystal, photo emission, and chemical deprocessing. Experience in MOS and bipolar technology, analog circuit analysis, knowledge of ESD circuitry a plus. Must be able to demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
