Description :
Responsible for management of and compliance with CNAC's contract and acquisitions related functions. Responsibilities include contracts management, which involves, but is not limited to, contract tasks from "cradle to grave", program management assistance, and closeout.
Perform as the Contracts Manager in support of CNAC contracts and proposals. Ensure compliance with prime contractual requirements. Provide contract oversight and assistance to other functional areas of CNAC, including; supporting contract administrators, obtaining government approvals, and providing input for administrative contract deliverable reports such as status and compliance reports, and contract closeouts.Provide contract administration and audit compliance support. Prepare contract-related documents and correspondence. Provide audit liaison and coordination with other critical functional areas. Provide input to various reports to assist staff and management with contract reporting activities.Provide proposal support and development to CNAC staff. Work on complex pricing strategies either as an individual or as a member of a team.Negotiate contracts, which include duties such as pricing, terms & conditions, and statements of work.Provide back-up for Manager, Contracts and Procurement and other Contracts team members in the their absence, including providing support and oversight to the team and signature authority.Coach and mentor other members of the contracts team.Assist in preparation, development and compliance of policies, procedures and related training.Develop and foster professional relationships with other functional areas within CNAC, as well as various government representatives, including Contracting Officers
. Experience: Must have at least 7 years of experience in a multi-contract government contract environment, with at least 4 years of supervisory experience and experience preparing, reviewing, and managing pricing of contracts and proposals.
Skills: Must have knowledge of Earned Value Management, Performance Based Contracting, GSA schedules and other acquisition related topics and industry trends, and working knowledge of FAR and FAR supplements. Must be proficient in using spreadsheets and databases. Must have the ability to organize workload and meet all deadlines and commitments while handling multiple assignments; perform under pressure; and work effectively in a team environment as well as independently. Must be detail-oriented and have excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong customer service skills.
Other: Must have ability to attain and maintain a Secret level security clearance or higher.
