Position : Staff RF Test Engineer

Description :
Designs, develops, and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment. Prepares test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products. Plans the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
Familiarity with test equipment (probers, handlers, testers) is desired. Computer programming skills in C++ or similar high level language. Device types include: RF Receivers, RF transmitters, and RF tranceivers (frequencies from 300MHZ to 3GHZ). Candidates may also assist in development on some standard Micrel products which include: LDO's USB switches, PCMCIA devices, switching power supplies, op amps and custom ASIC's. Testers used by Micrel are Teradyne (uFLEX RF), TMT (ASL1000-RFX, ASL3000), Eagle (ETS364RF, ETS200, ETS500).
