The Higher Education Finance department is looking for aSr. Financial Analyst for theirBurr Ridge, IL location.
This position provides key analytical support to Career and Learning Solutions operating units within McGraw-Hill Higher Education.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for ongoing development of analyses and reports for financial evaluation of sales, plant costs, royalty, manufacturing, and operating expenses for respective product lines.
Assist in the development of the annual operating budget, medium and long-range plans and other financial forecasts.
Recommend and implement financial data gathering and analysis improvements based on evaluation of current process utilizing experience and technological expertise.
Provide overall Business Unit support for financial operations and work with Senior Management to complete special projects as assigned.
Review financial information for customized proposals and determine if they are financially feasible.
Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting required
Master's Business Administration preferred
3-5 years financial analysis experience, 5-7 years preferred
Strong PC skills required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
Independent problem solving and decision making skills required
Ability to prioritize and assume multiple responsibilities
Strong analytical skills required
