McGraw-Hill Professional has an exciting opportunity for aMarketing Manager , based in our New York office, to create and implement marketing plans that drive sales for clinical medicine books with major emphasis on building effective marketing programs to end users of professional medical content.
Essential responsibilities include the following:
Demand generation: develop strong outreach to end users of professional medical content including: developing and implementing marketing plans, development of robust online outreach, building strong database of end users, creation of flyers, press releases, email, marketing websites, web banners and other promotional pieces
Trade Shows: Manage and attend clinical conventions and work with LWW commission sales group to maximize sales at conferences
Product Management: attend pre-ed board and reprint meeting to forecast sales, and to contribute to product development
Develop and manage appropriate partnerships that increase visibility of McGraw-Hill medical product and overall outreach to end user community.
New Product Launches & Sales Meetings: work with creative and editorial to design covers
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum two years of medical marketing experience or four years of non-medical book marketing management experience
Online marketing experience strongly preferred
Pro-active, self-directed, and detail oriented
Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to travel
