Basic Function:
Specialists work as part of a team to ensure client satisfaction and retention through timely and efficient installation and conversion of ADP Employer Services products, features, or equipment. They utilize a combination of product knowledge, HR knowledge and project management skills to contribute to the team. They coordinate client training sessions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct needs analysis to determine appropriate product/service requirements for new or existing clients.
- Participate in project planning efforts which may involve one or more of the following:
• Product configuration or adaptation to meet each client's needs.
• Functional design guidance, accommodation of client rules, plans or procedures.
• Client control information, pre- and post-implementation testing oversight.
• Analysis of custom reporting and/or system interface requirements.
- Participate in schedule development and monitoring and/or reporting the status to member of project team leadership.
- Oversee accurate and timely installation/conversion of ADP products through entire implementation cycle. This may involve one or more of the following:
• Assess the appropriate method and identify resources for the conversion of client data to ADP systems and software.
• Test the product or overseeing the testing process.
• Consult on the installation of client site software/equipment and coordinate technical support to resolve issues.
• Ensure the successful "hand-off" to other ADP departments following implementation
• Coordinate client training.
• Seek client feedback on the products and service to maintain satisfaction level.
- At higher levels may have additional responsibilities such as:
• Provide technical support or training to less experienced Implementation associates regarding product features or installation process.
• Serve as a liaison with other ADP departments for sales opportunities or problem resolution.

Top 3 Key Qualifiers:
- Strong payroll background is a must.
- Experience in working with systems, i.e. Mainframe, Enterprise, Clarify, etc.
- Experience in working with general ledger, benefit accrual and management reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent in education and experience required.
- One to two years of business to business client service interface and basic project management skills.
- Implementation Specialist experience with detailed product knowledge and broad functional area expertise.
- Aptitude with automated productivity tools a plus.
- Must be proficient using IBM compatible PCs with resultant working knowledge of various operating systems.
