The Custom Publishing Editorial, Design & Production department in our Dubuque, IA location is looking for an Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities include:
• Assist in planning and implementing conferences and special events; making any necessary room rental, reservation, catering arrangements, and other logistics.
• Complete special projects independently, which may involve researching information and calculating figures in creating reports; create, modify and design charts, graphs, and reports using database or spreadsheet application.
• Departmental reports and research
• Manage internal systems related to expense accounts, corporate purchasing, invoice processing, etc.
• Maintain calendar, schedule appointments and travel arrangements
• Order office supplies, business cards/stationary, and equipment
• Maintain vacation schedules, department phone list, and organizational charts.
· High school diploma required plus 2-4 years work experience.
· Proficiency with MS Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and the ability to learn new programs as required
· Demonstrated excellence in responsive, accurate and professional written and oral communications
· Good organization and attention to detail
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
