Description :
The Aviation Operations Specialist is an integral member of the New York Army National Guard's Aviation Team, Repairing Tactical Helicopter and performing the necessary associated operational administrative duties.
Requirements:
**Ages 17-42, Prior service personnel may still be able to join.
**Able to pass a multiple choice test and pass a physical exam.
**Have U.S. citizenship or be a permanent resident.
**A High School Diploma, (Students currently in High School, 11th grade are accepted pending graduation). Need a GED, no problem, we will send you through our program to earn it.

The Guard is composed primarily of traditional Guardsmen - civilians who serve their country, state and community on a part-time basis (usually one weekend each month and two weeks during the summer).
