An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 6 month secondment to the Senior Management Recruitment Team, to cover for a maternity absence. This is small team, offering a niche service and requires an individual with a keen focus on providing exceptional customer service and the ability to work with initiative and enthusiasm.
The Senior Mangement Recruitment Team provide a service to Directors across NUI, Life and RAC and must have the capability to respond quickly and flexibly. The Lead Advisor will support that service, providing a 1st class recruitment administration experience to both the candidate, the recruiting Director and the recruitment consultants.
About The Role
Location : This role will be based at Yorkshire House in York.
The successful candidate will deliver the recruitment administration service for the Senior Management Recruitment Team, working alongside one other Lead Advisor and reporting into a Managing Consultant.
The role provides a great opportunity for someone, already with evidence of effective administration skills, to work in a small team where they will have the opportunity to drive the recruitment process through from start to finish and make a significant impact on customer experience throughout. Candidates need to enjoy the opportunity to work under their own initiative - but recognise when to refer. A great learning opportunity for anyone wanting to follow either an administration or recruitment consultancy career.
Key Responsibilities
Provide an exceptional level of customer care, whether that be to candidates, hiring managers, recruitment consultants or suppliers.
Run the recruitment process to ensure we meet our commitment to candidate care, ensuring that candidates are communicated with appropriately and in line with our recruitment charter.
Produce accurate and timely offer letters and contracts and carry out the appropriate post-recruitment checks.
Build customer focussed working relationships internally and externally.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
Maximise technical expertise and develop an in-depth knowledge of recruitment policy, process and practice.
Ensure the recruitment process is recorded appropriately for MI reporting.
Experience Skills & Qualifications
Experience of working in a customer service environment.
Highly organised and structured approach to tasks, with strict attention to detail.
Flexible in style with the ability to prioritise effectively.
Excellent written communication skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills, i.e. must be professional, confident and empathic.
Must be results focussed and be energised by the requirement to get things done, sometimes under pressure.
Ideally some experience of project work and controls.
Ideally experience of working with HR systems, in particular Global Successor.
Proficient in both Word and Excel.
