The School Solutions Group, a division of McGraw-Hill Education, has an immediate opening for a Product Manager for Health and Fine Arts, located in Woodland Hills, CA. Responsibilities: Will be responsible for inventory management and packaging for the Health and Fine Arts product lines. Responsible for providing accurate inventory forecasts for all titles and work with the inventory department to ensure that products are in stock by the established deadlines. Provide package profiles and instructions for sample packages, teacher resource packages, and other special marketing packages and work to control package costs. Work with the manufacturing department to bulk product prototypes and develop new packaging options. Travel to the corporate offices to analyze package needs from the customer and sales perspectives to ensure our packages meet customer needs. Work with the marketing manager, regional sales managers, and inventory department to ensure product and sample availability for state adoption campaign deadlines. Work with contracts department to ensure that ISBNs, copyrights, and prices are accurate on all bids. Price all components under the direction of the marketing manager. Provide prices for new catalogs and work with advertising to proof prices and ISBNs in catalogs and brochures. Provide technical support for e-Marketing. Support the marketing manager through various means including but not limited to maintaining records, developing and/or maintaining written communication, preparing PowerPoint Presentations, scheduling meetings, tracking information, and other administrative duties as assigned. Required: Bachelor's degree. Excellent analytical skills as well as effective oral and written communication skills. Must be proactive and take the initiative to solve problems and demonstrate superior attention to detail and follow-through. Must possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to set priorities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be able to move and lift and move materials up to 50 pounds when working with sample and teacher resource packages in the office, at focus groups and exhibits. Some travel with overnight stays is required. Must be able to work extended hours to complete projects when necessary. Desired: Financial data tracking experience. Inventory background is a plus.
