The Science, Engineering & Math division of Higher Education is looking for a Marketing Manager for their Dubuque, IA location.
Responsibilities:
Develops, plans, implements and evaluates effective marketing plans for assigned products to achieve sales forecasts.
Executes core event process (symposia and focus groups)
Participates in the development of sales objectives, strategies, product information materials, and promotional programs.
Must manage assigned budget and is responsible for revenue goals for assigned discipline.
Investigates new opportunities with regards to new products, sales, partnerships with other organizations, new marketing opportunities for the company, etc.
Assist editors in competitive signing situations.
Provide support to sales representatives with individual adoption opportunities
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree
3 years marketing, sales or editorial experience in publishing is necessary.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong understanding of finances and profitability Knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems is desired.
Consistent achievement of sales and budgets goals.
Able to thrive in a deadline driven environment
30-50% travel required
