Responsibilities :
We are currently seeking an individual whose primary responsibilities will be tooperate our palletizer equipment as required to maintain standard quality bottles, visually inspect finished ware, stack finished bottles on pallets and prepare them for shipment. Additional responsibilities are as follows:
Apply corner boards and operate stretch wrap and strapping equipment as required to maintain constant flow of finished pallets.
Load top frames and slip sheets into bins.
Grind defective ware as required.
Start, stop and operate all palletizer controls.
Continually monitor palletizing operation to ensure constant flow of good production and minimize spoilage.
Clear bottles jams to maintain constant flow of bottles to palletizer.
Visually inspect bottles; discarding those obviously defective bottles.
Handle supplies required (slip sheets, top frame, etc.) by palletizing operation.
Notify Supervisor or Maintenance - of any malfunction beyond Palletizer operator control.
Keep assigned work area clean and orderly.
Dispose of scrap material properly.
Perform all work in a manner providing for safety of self and all other plant personnel.
Provide relief and perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications :
Ability to work safely.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
Must have a good attendance history.
Preferably 1 year of warehouse experience.
Do you have experience operating production machinery? We're willing to train you on the rest!
