Position : Pharmacist - Outpatient Oncology (part time)

Responsibilities: This position is a member of a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for assuring safe, efficient, cost effective drug therapy for all patients. The pharmacist is responsible for providing clinical drug information to meet the needs of the customers, including physicians, nurses, patients and other healthcare professionals.
This is a part-time, 20 hours per week position. It is a non-exempt, non-contractual, hourly position that is eligible for benefits. The schedule is Monday – Thursday, approximately 9am - 2pm. Shift lengths may vary according to business needs. Swedish offers a competitive salary based on annual market comparison and determined by your skills and experience.
Qualifications:
Experience and skills: A minimum of six months of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred. Able to communicate effectively and work well with others in a professional manner. Ability to complete drug-related services accurately and efficiently. Ability to enter information into and to retrieve information from the computer systems in a timely manner. Ability to accurately check the compounding of IV admixtures, HA solutions and other parenteral drugs, manufactured items, unit-dose medication and outpatient prescriptions. Ability to exercise sound professional judgment and use initiative consistent with knowledge of clinical drug use and patient safety. Ability to perform pharmacy related mathematical calculations. Education: A graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.

Licensures/Certifications: A current license to practice as a registered pharmacist in the State of Washington.
