Summary: (purpose of the job): Responsible for overall responsibility and accountability for the marketing and business development/lead generation. This position requires managing marketing resources (budget and headcount) to achieve optimum results with the minimum expenditure. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development, Planning and Reporting
§ Work with management to develop the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve goals.
§ Develop programs with quantifiable objectives to measure results.
§ Analyze market trends, recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
§ Prepare and manage the overall marketing and business development budget
§ Demonstrate a significant understanding of North America’s markets
§ Proven ability in all parts of the marketing mix including: campaign management, event management, database marketing and outbound lead generation.
§ In addition, the candidate should have experience managing insides telemarketing teams.
Relationship Management
§ Identify, analyze, pursue and report on business opportunities with existing and prospective clients
§ Develop and enhance business relationships fostering industry analyst and partner relationships
Public Relations Management
§ Oversee Duck Creek’s public relations initiatives including press releases, communications, advertising, marketing materials, web site, publications and online marketing
§ Design and produce of all aspects of visual marketing needs, including print ads, PowerPoint, publications and web site development
§ Oversee all event planning
Management and Leadership
§ Build and maintain a high performance culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching of staff
§ Manage multiple projects, prioritize work and balance strategic and tactical issues
§ Provide clear leadership that establishes credibility with customers, analysts, partners and employees that fosters a team culture consistent with the our values
§ Ensure development of the existing marketing team and oversee the recruitment of appropriately skilled staff to new positions as and when require
Education & Experience
The candidate must have not less than 5 years in the marketing industry with a track record of developing comprehensive marketing and business development strategies.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Solid knowledge of DCT products and processes
Presentation skills with emphasis in attention to detail
