POSITION SUMMARY This position is critical in ensuring the effective management of information pertinent to Millennium's products in relation to drug distribution, inventory management, sales reporting and territory alignment. The person in this role will work closely with all functions within the Commercial organization, including Sales, Reimbursement and National Accounts, Commercial Analytics, Commercial Manufacturing and Market Research to ensure that information needs are met in a timely manner, and also with other members of Commercial Operations and Commercial IT to continuously improve on current operating practices and procedures.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Detailed Responsibilities and Scope of Job:
• Proactively manage the day-to-day operations of Millennium's distribution channel serving as the primary contact and decision-maker in this regard.
• Work closely with members of Commercial Manufacturing to help ensure integrity throughout the entire supply chain.
• Manage and administer distribution and sales-related data and associated processes related to company and competitive products.
• Assist in the production of regular weekly and monthly sales reports for field-based teams, Commercial Management, Senior Management, Reimbursement, Finance and other user groups as needed.
• Help ensure organizational and professional data quality and integrity, working with other team members as an active user of the centralized customer database.
• Act as a liaison to field-based teams and internal customers on sales data reporting questions to provide answers and resolve inquiries as received
• Work closely with Commercial IT on data-related projects and improvement initiatives to help ensure appropriate prioritization and quality deliverables.
• Assist other team members in sales analytics and distribution-related projects as requested.
• Manage projects relating to Commercial Operations process improvements as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS • Detail-orientated with strong analytical and outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Solid customer service ethics with proven ability to interact effectively with senior management, field-based employees, vendors and partners.
• Demonstrated project and program management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of Excel, Access and other reporting tools such as Cognos.
• Ability to both lead and actively participate on working teams.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well in dynamic environment.
• Able to work and deliver on deadlines while managing multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Previous Commercial experience in a biotech/pharmaceutical industry setting.
• Familiarity with the drug development and commercialization process.
