The Business Services Support Technician will perform duties across several areas of the business services function, all of which are vital to helping the Association run as smoothly as possible. This person will assist with mail sorting and distribution, and process outgoing mail and certified mail electronically; sort and distribute incoming packages and obtain signatures for control; fulfill, process and maintain inventory of publication orders; prep and process large volume mailing requests; assist with printing, which includes operation of Xerox DocuTech and bindery/finishing equipment to meet customer requirements in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment; set up conference rooms and audio-visual equipment according to customer needs; stock each floor with necessary supplies and perform key operator service on convenience copiers.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred in printing and/or mail center operations. Successful candidates will have 2 years of related experience, keen attention to detail, knowledge of database conversion and PC skills, basic knowledge of USPS, UPS, Federal Express and other shipping services, and skills in troubleshooting copier equipment in a networked printing environment. Proficiency with Pitney Bowes shipping systems, DocuTech printers, and audio-visual equipment desired. Must be customer-service oriented, a team player, flexible to adapt to changing workflow patterns, and should be willing to work overtime as the workload dictates.
