The Grow Network currently has an outstanding opportunity for a Program Manager.
As a Program Manager for The Grow Network/McGraw-Hill, you would manage one or more of our state or district reporting contracts. You would serve as the outward facing representative of our organization to high ranking education and government officials, while also assisting internally to lead product development and delivery.
Lead Grow’s relationship with a key client, overseeing the contract relationship and the reporting program for a given client/market
Build relationships and alliances with high-level client decision makers
Lead program work within Grow: serving as the voice of the client and working closely with internal teams to implement reporting program (e.g. product development, project management)
Manage specific costs and resources for all projects relating to a given client contract
Achieve implementation success and client retention
Act as generalist, understanding client needs and internal capabilities/plans
Negotiate with the client to achieve optimum solution; arbitrate scope, requirements changes, and schedule in context of satisfying client needs
Maintain a clear working hypothesis of Grow’s impact on student learning and student performance; district, school, and teacher use of data; and parent and family involvement
Identify and address opportunities for business development
Assess and distill client needs, partnering with internal teams to develop customized products or product features that address those needs
Build client relationships and support from users and related organizations (e.g. government constituents, non-profit entities, and local education and community groups)
Develop plan for professional development and usage-driving in conjunction with Client Relations team
Ensure accurate field communications about program scope and timing
Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred)
Excellent presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to create and manage long-term relationships
Demonstrated ability to enter new situation and effect change
Self-starter, with the ability to work independently
Evidence of successful past collaboration with internal team and external users
Deadline-conscious, results-driven, and high-performing in a high intensity environment
Program Management experience in an education or assessment context
Teaching or other school-based experience in K-12 education
