The Contract Manager position is responsible for providing Contract Management support services for GE Energy's Aeroderivative projects. In this capacity, the Contract Manager will take a lead role in pursuing Margin Opportunities; take a lead role in Claim Mitigation and Early Dispute resolution.
The Contract Manager will lead all Contract Management activities across the Aero segment globally including:
*Margin Opportunities
*Claim Management
*e-Automated Release System
*Contractual/Commercial support to Aero Project Management team

Qualifications
*A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Construction Management.
*Minimum of (7) seven years of Contract Management experience in administering highly complex contractual agreements in the power industry/heavy construction projects. Experience should include but not be limited to:
-Knowledge of Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) and/or Order-to-Remittance (OTR) contract administration principals
-Knowledge of domestic and international commercial contracting practices
-Demonstrated leadership and negotiation skills on complex contractual matters
-Experience in the negotiation and management of Consortium Agreements
-Experience in developing, negotiating and managing construction subcontract agreements and scope growth through established Change Order processes
-Experience in recovering late payments, back-charges and insurance claims and other margin enhancing opportunities.
-Experience in Risk Analysis, Claim Mitigation via Early Dispute Resolution
-Project Closeout and Warranty Turnover Experience.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Solid computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint.
-Global mindset and ability to multi-task.
