Position Summary:
Performs Radiologic procedures on patients in diagnostic services for interpretation by the radiologist and for providing the patient care essential to these procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and guiding principles of MBMC/BJC
Principal Accountabilities and Job Duties:

Performs routine and emergency radiographic procedures in all areas of the medical center according to established protocols for error-free quality
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care of service appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned unit.
Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate equipment and procedures necessary to perform in all areas of routine assignment.
Ensures that all patients are identified and informed about their procedure and are made as comfortable as possible including transporting the patient when appropriate.
Supports and demonstrates the continuous improvement of quality and service as directed by MBMC's/BJC's mission and values.
Demonstrates behavior that promotes professionalism, teamwork and services as liaison between staff and physician.
Participates in staff meetings, QA meetings, inservice, JCAHO requirements; participates in team effort and unit maintenance activities; organizes and completes assignments; displays professional appearance and conduct; maintains a clean and safe work environment.

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(Required)
Work Status:Per-Diem Hours:10 (per two week cycle) Regular Shift:Days, Evenings, Nights Additional Shift Information:Saturday, Sunday
