Position Summary:
Performs radiographic examinations ensuring patient safety and error-free quality, according to established protocol.

Performs routine and emergency radiographic procedures in all areas of the medical center according to established protocols for error-free quality.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care of service appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned unit.
Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate equipment and procedures necessary to perform in all areas of routine assignment.
Ensures that all patients are identified and informed about their procedure and are made as comfortable as possible including transporting the patient when appropriate.
Supports and demonstrates the continuous improvement of quality and service as directed by BJC's and MBMC's mission and values.
Demonstrates behavior that promotes professionalism, teamwork and serves as a liaison between staff and physician.
Participates in staff meetings, QA meetings, inservices, JCAHO requirements; participates in team effort and unit maintenance activities; organizes and completes assignments; displays professional appearance and conduct; maintains a clean and safe work environment.

This shift works Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. No weekends. Three holidays a year.
