*Interpretation of applicable Heat Exchanger codes and standards and determination of the impact of compliance.
*Guidance on heat exchanger design and analysis (FEA will be performed by others).
*Guidance on critical heat exchanger issues associated with construction, assembly, testing and shipping.
*Hands on evaluation of manufacturing and field issues and assistance in determining root cause analysis.
*Participation in producibility and cost reduction initiatives.
*Support of the Design Review and Configuration Control Board processes.
*Driving action items to closure.
*Communication with key stakeholders.
Qualifications
*BS in Engineering or equivalent.
*Minimum 10 years of practical, hands on experience associated with design and manufacture of shell and tube heat exchangers.
*Minimum of 1 year experience with ASME Section VIII calculations and requirements.
Desired
*Candidate must be thorough, accurate, decisive and a good communicator with a track record of providing design and manufacturing guidance on critical heat exchanger issues.
*Knowledge of thermal performance software such as HTRI or equivalent to size and rate heat exchangers.
*Experience working within a heat exchanger design team and production environment.
*Experience associated with large (ie > 10ft diameter) shell and tube heat exchangers.
*Familiarity and experience with PED requirements.
*Green Belt Certified (Employees only).

*This position is located in Houston, Texas.
*Full relocation will be provided.
*Domestic and international travel to sites for troubleshooting and to Suppliers for oversight is anticipated up to 40% of the time.
