Purpose of the Role
The Manager - Metrics and Reporting provides metrics and reporting support for all groups within New Geographies (i.e., consumer experience team, sales team, launch team, finance), and also uses his or her understanding of internal & external online audience measurement systems, market data and the performance of the new geographies portals to assist the New Geographies management team in maximising the audience and revenue opportunities of the new markets
Accountabilities
1. Provide internal reporting and metrics results analysis for new markets to New Geographies management team and feed back findings to the Content team
2. Ensure markets carry proper Omniture tags and set up Omniture reports
3. Maintain data dictionaries with external providers (e.g., comScore, Nielsen)
4. Leverage internal & external reporting output to assist in audience forecasting, ad inventory forecasting & reconciliation and ad revenue forecasting
5. Support the business & market intelligence & analysis requirements of the VP, Business Expansion & Business Development teams
6. Brief and manage projects
Scope
Reports to the Finance Director of New GeographiesProvides following support across the New Geographies team:· Finance Director & Advertising Sales Director - performance metrics to assist management of third party sales forces, ad inventory and ad revenue forecasting· Consumer Experience team - findings from metrics reporting, analysis for comScore and other external market research· Content Managers - competitor analysis and demographic profiling & recommendations based on historic internal and external data· Finance team - audience and monetisation metrics for financial reporting

Qualification: Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
Education/Qualifications· Degree educated
Experience, Specialist Knowledge & Skills (Technical & Functional)· Web analytics systems: Omniture Site Catalyst (essential) & Discover (preferred)· Ad management systems: DoubleClick DART and Adtech· External market analysis: Comscore (essential), Nielsen Net Ratings (preferred), Jupiter & others· Knowledge/Experience of online audience measurement metrics· 5 years digital sales model experience (CPM, CPC, CPA, search, revenue-share and hybrids) is helpful· Advanced analytical and presentation skills· Experience of successfully working with virtual teams
