This position is responsible for Extreme's Planning Activities. This includes developing and achieving financial goals around product forecasting and logistics spend. The position is also responsible This position requires solid leadership, and the ability to develop programs in support of departments forecasting processes to achieve targeted inventory goals without compromising committed customer service levels. This position requires influencing skills and the ability to lead activities within the various service business units.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting individuals that execute financial planning
Develops & Reports forecasts working with the Planning and Logistics along with finance.
Ensures accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of OPS spend plans
Develops and Drives Planning Policies and Procedures.
Manages and reports Excess and Obsolete Materials i
Manage ad hoc programs as needed in support of service objectives
Manage forecasting all NPI Program Planning activities & target inventory levels
Back-up Demand Planner for all OPS Planning
Job Requirements:
Requires 3-5 years of related experience
Specific Aspects of the Job:
Exercises judgment within broadly defined policies and practices.
Regularly interacts with senior managers
Interactions occasionally involve controversial situations, negotiations, or influencing and persuading other mangers.
Establishes policies and has overall responsibility for budgetary information
Some Travel my be required
Skills/Experience:
Strong ERP experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong Leadership Skills
Training in Production Control and Planning
Presentation Skills
Some financial background preferred
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint
