Is responsible for work that is less defined in scope and has the understanding and experience to execute business objectives. This role has the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. * Execute with some guidance the analysis/evaluation of assigned projects that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product/program requirements. * Provide technical leadership to other personnel assigned to support the effort on assigned projects and/or tasks; mentors others in the organization. * Document technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures. * Monitor and communicate project status, business issues and significant developments. * Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews. Qualifications * Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science. * At least 3 additional years of experience in an engineering field. Desired * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with cross-functional experience preferred. * Strong oral and written communication skills. * Technological proficiency, including relevant engineering tools. * Additional experience designing and implementing new products using the NPI process is preferred. * An understanding of Six Sigma tools to make databased recommendations and decisions. * Ability to successfully work in a team environment. * Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems. * Previous Methods Planning / Assembly Engineer experience. * Previous Instrumentation Process experience, knowledge of Instrumentation Data Systems is a plus. * Knowledge of Assembly Processes. * Uses and understands PEAR, Open Plan, Vis MockUp, UG programs. * EEDP graduate.
