Receptionist / Van Driver
The Receptionist/Van Driver provides reception duties for the Touchstone Perinatal Program to assure optimal customer relations that enable program participants to complete intake and treatment service paperwork processes effectively. She/he provides support to the business functions of the Touchstone Program by assisting with filing, copying, faxing and distribution of necessary forms and documents. She/he has primary responsibility for client gas voucher system and providing complete Intake Charts and Orientation packets. She/he updates all client policies, consents and other documents for orientation as directed by Program Manager.
When performing Van Driver duties, he/she will provide safe transportation for Touchstone clients and their children to and from the Center and other client treatment transports. Provides daily and other routine vehicle inspections in compliance with CHP and DMV regulations and Class B Licensure. He/she keeps a daily log of transports, updates seat belt and other DMV vehicle code requirements for Passenger Carrier Program regularly. These services further the mission of Enloe Medical Center, which is to provide high quality, cost effective healthcare for the people in the communities we serve. Minimum of one year experience as a receptionist and one year transportation experience with a Class B License. Bi-lingual skills desired. Must have current Class B CA Drivers License. Must be able to be insured under Medical Center's Liability Policy with DMV Report (and minimum age 21). Must have current CPR recognition and First Aid. Submission of a resume with the employment application desired. Must be proficient in the operation of telephone console equipment and fax/ copy machines. Must have excellent filing and record keeping skills. Must type 25 wpm (current certificate within three years) and be capable of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook (Microsoft Office Suite) computer skills for a variety of support functions. Must be able to follow instructions and work quickly and accurately in a fast paced environment with many distractions. Analytical and grammatical skills are necessary to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Must be able to communicate effectively and work with clients, children, coworkers, other departments and the public using diplomacy while maintaining strict confidentiality with Federal regulations for Alcohol and Drug programs funded by the State and/or Federal government. Must be able to read maps and transport routes efficiently and safely. Must be flexible and able to respond calmly in crisis, or during an emergency, and with the distraction of small children in transport. Must be able to set appropriate boundaries with clients. Organizational and multi-tasking skills are essential.
