Posting Job Description I. POSITION SUMMARY
Own the pre-close sales process, teaming with regional Account Directors and Executives on all assigned accounts to drive additional revenue and overachieve on the team's goals.
II. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop presentations (screen shots / mock-ups) for simple RFP response and proposal development; work with Account Director/Executive and Sales Development to build unique creative proposals for more complex and long-term opportunities; gather and utilize 3rd-party and 1st party research to effectively build our sales story for presentations
2. Build timely, on-target simple plans
3. Produce complex media plans by collaborating with Central Media Planning Team for complex plan development
4. Input RFP responses into internal systems and external templates; convert simple plans into Atlas/3rd party servers from DART/Proposal Builder
5. Manage the credit check process with Finance and Account Director/Executive
6. Ensure campaign launch working with Launch and Trafficking team; transition campaign and assure proper handoff to the Account Manager for a successful client launch
III. QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: 1-4 years of total business experience, with 1-4 in Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Client Services, preferably online
Specialized Knowledge: Strong knowledge of and/or abilities in Media Sales and Advertising/Marketing; Industry news/trends; understanding of online syndicated media research; command of MS Office, experience with Salesforce.com, Doubleclick systems a plus
Skills: Project management, Excellent Communication (written and verbal), Interpersonal / Relationship management and Revenue Accounting, competitive positioning; problem solving, independent thinking, Focused Time Management
