The Account Executive will be responsible for generating advertising revenue in a defined territory to meet corporate goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Meet defined monthly and quarterly revenue goals across the Advertising.com product portfolio: web, search, behavioral targeting and other new initiatives
*Provide high-level direct contact with advertisers and advertising agencies
*Aggressively pursue new business
*Provide feedback to the rest of the organization on how to better satisfy client needs
Skills:
*Provide high-level direct client contact with advertisers and advertising agencies in region
*Excellent track record in consistently achieving and increasing revenue goals
*Proven track record in closing new business as well as growing existing accounts
*Strong understanding of Advertising Sales at the CXO level
*Strong relationship building skills
*Excellent customer service skills
*Superior presentation skills
*Superior negotiation skills
Education/Experience:
*5 plus years of advertising sales experience
*Bachelor's degree in related field
*Experience in the interactive advertising / digitial media industry desired
*Or relevant combination of education and experience
