Reporting to the Senior Interactive Art Director-Advertising, the Interactive Art Director-Advertising serves as the lead designer for executing the strategic, conceptual and visual direction of original advertising components for Comcast Interactive Media Group (CIM) with regard to usability, as they relate to ad sales, corporate partnerships/acquisitions and promotions. This highly skilled designer can execute interactive, custom design solutions that merge content with advertising with ease.
The Interactive Art Director-Advertising develops briefs, concepts, presentations and executes designs of microsites, landing pages, sponsored skins and banner advertisements as a dedicated resource to CIM advertising initiatives. This role must drive and implement design execution within the team and work closely with the Interactive Specialist to achieve great interactive advertising solutions based on a established strategy.
The Interactive Art Director-Advertising will have the ability to influence design direction in order to accomplish advertising business goals, as well as playing a lead conceptual role in design solutions for advertising partner sales and advertising needs across all CIM properties: COMCAST.NET (one of the most-visited broadband experiences on the Internet), Fancast, Ziddio, Game Invasion, Fandango and others. This role also must maintain design standards established within the CIM brand as well as development of new interactive destinations to create advertorial and editorial opportunities for partner brands. The Interactive Art Director-Advertising is empowered to think about the "big picture"- Comcast and all its properties (online, set top box, mobile, etc...) and how deliverables could impact schedules, other properties and resources.
