For a listing of employee benefits, please visit us at www.texaspetrochemicals.com POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for administration and processing of bi-weekly and semi-monthly payrolls. Will be responsible for quality payroll services for all TPC employees which will include responding to employee questions and assisting employees in obtaining information related to all aspects of payroll activity. Serves as a liaison to external payroll processing form (ADP) in regard to all payroll questions including tax or other withholding related issues. Works closely with plant personnel related to time and attendance input and verification. Assists in resolution of payroll related issues/problems, and delivers quality customer service. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Expertise in federal, state, and tax regulations
Ability to communicate and form professional relationships with all levels of management as well as employees with confidence and compassion.
Maintain the highest level of confidentiality
Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations such as FLSA, Texas Payday Law, etc.
Detail oriented
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Oracle experience preferred
Analytical and problem solving skills
Organized & ability to multi-task
Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Certification as Payroll Professional preferred
5+ years payroll experience processing multiple pay cycles
Experience in a union environment preferred
Knowledge of ADP PC Payroll required
