Position : Research Director/Project Manager AIMSweb

Description :

AIMSweb is a scientifically based, formative assessment system that 'informs' the teaching and learning process by providing continuous student performance data and reporting improvement to parents, teachers, and administrators to enable evidence-based evaluation and data-driven instruction. About Research Director/Project Manager, AIMSweb

This professional will have primary responsibility for content development, content evaluation and delivery appearance of the content for AIMSweb products.
Design and provide requirements for all new AIMSweb proposed products, incorporating both content and execution requirements based on capabilities of the AIMSweb platform
Work with internal/outside sources to secure new content for expansion products; evaluate and approve submissions
Design and execute all related technical validity or other required evaluations of AIMSweb content
Design and execute all final forms of the content for commercialization within the AIMSweb platform, data capture devices and/or in associated consumables.
'Work collaboratively with AIMSweb technology team to load content and evaluate functionality demands.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role:
This position will incorporate the activities of a development professional with expertise in both curriculum-based measurement (CBM) measures and test development as well as the functional department activities currently associated with our editorial staff.
Experience required:

Technical expertise in development and application of curriculum-based measurement content (probes)
Understanding of technology platforms, from a capabilities standpoint (how to use them, not how to build them)
'Experience in test development, particularly in content development and editorial functions.
Experience preferred: Prior implementation of curriculum-based measurement programs or training efforts at major public school district(s) Education required: Masters Degree in Education, Psychology or related discipline. Education preferred: PhD. Concentration or specialization in curriculum-based measurement from a test development or student evaluation perspective. Reading/language arts and/or math. Personality attributes/skills required:

Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Flexible and adaptable
Likes to work on many different (related) tasks to complete a project
Self starter that wants to accept responsibility for the total scope of a project, not just the development
Likes to work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in the 'adequate' quality arena vs. 'the very best it can be' quality arena
