Crawford Communications Group (www.crawfordgroup.com) is currently looking for a well-qualified, Senior Product Marketing Manager consultant, for an engagement with one of our leading high technology client located on the S.F. Peninsula. Target Consulting Dates: ASAP for 6 months. Potential to result in a permanent employee role with our client. Firm Consulting Rate: $65 to $80 (Depends on experience), as a w-2 employee of Crawford Communications Group. Hours/location: Fulltime/Onsite at client’s Corporate HQ. Local S.F. Job Description: The winning candidate has a successful track record as a business leader who can drive, manage, and deliver a wide range of product marketing responsibilities. Key requirements are growing sales with existing B2B (primarily), B2C (secondarily) channels, and OEMS. Also requires a proven outbound marketing focus in collaboration with marketing communications, and advancing sales through co-selling with sales team and enabling the various channels. The Senior Product Marketing Manager reports into the Director of Product Marketing, and will be accountable for broad P&L responsibility and “own’ a product-line of mainstream computer products/accessories. The candidate must be a leader and driver, who can deliver comprehensively in a collaborative but demanding individual-contributor environment.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: · 8 plus years of Product Marketing experience, including several years with computer products, computer accessories, consumer electronics, and/or shrink wrapped/packaged goods. · Successful track record with P& L responsibility/driving sales growth. Brand Management exposure a plus. · 4 or more years managing, optimizing, and co-selling to B2B and B2C channels; i.e. Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Fry’s. · Proven experience growing company-branded products’ sales through OEM’s/partners; i.e. DELL, CDW. · Proven ability to lead and target marketing communications and promotional campaigns and deliverables to optimize B2B and B2C Channels’ sales performance. · Expertise working closely and collaboratively with sales teams with channel partners/ “customers”. · Solid track record interfacing with channel marketing to develop U.S. go-to market strategies and tactics to ensure market success. · Solid ability to develop and deploy sales training/tools, and coordinate with Marketing Communications to create and deliver, Web, collateral, packaging, promotions, etc. · Background in business and consumer product pricing, inventory forecasting and management.
SOFT-SKILLS REQUIRED: · Must be a self-starter, quick study, independent performer who can contribute end to end-strategically and drive/project manage tactical execution · Professional who can clearly communicate product, marketing, promotional, and sales objectives. · Highly adept at leading cross-functional teams. · BA/BS in Marketing, Retail marketing, General Business, or similar. MBA preferred.
