Description :
Participate as an integral member of a dynamic team in enhancing existing functionality and creating new components within the HSN Vendor Portal and Electronic Data Interchange ( EDI) Processing. The successful candidate will combine both technical and communications skills to work with our business partners, IT partners, and vendors. The group uses a variety of technologies to support warehouses, carriers, drop ship fulfillment, quality assurance and numerous cross-functional systems.
Responsibilities
Provides Support to Vendors in File certification for Drop Ship Program
Provides Support to internal and external users as needed with Vendor Portal
Develops code of low to medium complexity
Documents development work
Writes QA test plans
Executes QA Test Plans
Often takes direction of assignment from Sr. Software Engineers
Provides business support as needed
Participates in production support including after hours support
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors Degree, technical equivalent or work experience required
1 - 2 years development experience
Basic computer skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
PVCS or equivalent version control
Strong written, oral, and visual communication skills
Willingness to participate in after-hour and on-call support
Desire to learn and use new technologies

Some experience with any of the following:
C#
ASP.net
SQL Server
EDI or other File translation software
