Are you passionate about operating systems, networking, 2D/3D graphics, security, video game development, user experience or API design? We're looking for experienced and fearless engineers to deliver a gaming platform and new application architecture for the Xbox 360 console and future versions of the Xbox.
In the next year, the Xbox LIVE console software team is aiming to greatly expand the Xbox LIVE audience in order to scale the LIVE business from 100+ million dollars to a billion dollars. In order to achieve this ambitious goal, we will introduce a novel software platform for online games that will become the foundation for years of innovation and will span multiple hardware platforms. This new platform will blend games, traditional media, ecommerce and social networking in a safe, approachable manner. We need you to help design and deliver a rich, highly extensible platform that will be cherished by consumers and developers alike.

We are hiring for several roles. Candidates should have interest and/or experience in 2 or more of these areas: systems software, networking, graphics, game development, user interface, platform/API development. All candidates should have:
· 3 or more years of C/C++ development experience
· The ability to independently develop creative, realistic solutions to highly ambiguous problems
· A track record of shipping products on time
· Great communication skills
· Passion for the customer community
