The Windows Media Center Core team seeks an experienced developer to shape the future evolution of Windows Media Center. As a member of our development team, you will design and build groundbreaking new user experiences that will be enjoyed by millions of people worldwide and further our integration with other MS consumer technologies like Xbox 360, Zune, and Windows Live.
Primary responsibilities include the design and implementation of high-quality product code to enable next-generation user-experiences and integration with a diverse set of media sources and service-delivered content. Bring a passion for entertainment and the skill and determination to help us take our status as an innovation-leader to the next level.
A qualified candidate should have at least six years of relevant software design, development, and shipping experience. Familiarity with C++, C# and the .NET Framework are necessary. Strong communication skills are essential. Experience with next-generation declarative user-interface technologies (Avalon, MCML, etc.), web services, streaming media are helpful, but optional. A BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred.
