The Windows Mobile Internet Applications team is looking for a talented developer to help build the Internet platform and user experience for the next version of Windows Mobile. Get involved in the early stages of a ground-up redesign of the mobile web browsing experience and contribute to the new Windows Mobile product release cycle. You will adapt and improve Internet Explorer technologies to the constraints of a small screen. You will enable the best possible rendering and user experience for the next generation of web applications and services on a variety of mobile devices. You will grow every day working with leading edge technologies while improving your cross-group collaboration skills. You will have lots of fun doing it.
Qualifications include:
o 5+ years end-to-end (planning to shipping) product development experience
o The ability to provide technical leadership
o The will and skill to mentor junior developers
o Strong design and implementation skills
o Windows Win32, C/C++, and COM
o A demonstrated quality mindset
o The ability to work both independently and in an agile team environment
o A BA/BS or a MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
o Plusses: exposure to internetworking protocols (especially TCP/IP, HTTP), Win32 Internet technologies (URLMON, WININET) and Internet document standards (HTML, XHTML, CSS, and XML, scripting)
